In case you missed it, here is our collage photo included in our Christmas card this year.
Again, I used Google’s free Picasa software to select and organize the photos and create the collage. I added text to each photo (also in Picasa) to help give context to what are seemingly random shots.
Clarifiers
MHS reunion: Pat attended Muskego High School his freshman year and has recently reconnected with some friends via Facebook. The reunion was great!
Prom: Hannah was a sophomore and went to prom with her boyfriend, Juan.
AAU Gymnastics: In her last year of competitive gymnastics, Clare participated in AAU and made it to state.
Frosh VB: In her first year in high school volleyball, Clare played on the freshmen volleyball team.
Lake Geneva: We stayed over at Grand Geneva while Pat, Brian, and Bob played in the Bob & Brian Open.
8th grade promotion (x2): In June Clare was “promoted” to 9th grade.
Every single day: If you know Hannah, you understand.
NYC: Monica and I spent a long Memorial Day weekend in New York for our 20th anniversary.
Homecoming (x2): Both Clare and Hannah went to the Homecoming dance with Max and Juan, respectively.
Confirmation: Clare was also confirmed at the end of May.
Club VB: Hannah played for Wisconsin Performance volleyball club.
First day of school: Per tradition, we captured the moment. And everyone overslept.
Lulu and Ophelia: We have cats.
Zoo fun: Hannah got her face painted at the Kraft/Oscar Mayer day at the zoo.
Birthday cake: The girls celebrated their birthdays with another great cake from Judy.
Double rainbow: Playing on the double rainbow meme, I happened to wander outside when I looked up to see this. (Sorry, no audio.) Standing in the right spot it curved right around our house. The second rainbow isn’t really visible in this photo, but whoa, man, it was there.
